Biz Bites Recap: Community, Collaboration & Big Plans for 2026

Today’s Biz Bites gathering was one of our most engaging sessions yet! Full of energy, connection, storytelling, and opportunities for collaboration. From the moment everyone logged in, the group brought warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm that set the tone for a truly meaningful hour together.

As we wrap up the year, it’s clear that Cape Women in Business is gearing up for major growth in 2026, and today’s conversation showcased just how powerful this community can be when we come together.

Holiday Traditions & Human Connection

We kicked off with introductions and a delightful round of holiday traditions. Members shared everything from:

  • Christmas Eve gatherings and family feasts

  • Cozy nights with classic Christmas movies

  • Watching A Christmas Carol all day

  • Swedish meatballs and Greek/French-inspired holiday meals

  • 12-day Yule celebrations

  • Coquito, themed cards, cookies, and more

This simple exchange reminded us how personal traditions create bridges between our professional and personal selves, something we deeply value at Cape Women in Business.

Spotlight: Lindsay Chessare of Coxswain Media

Our featured guest, Lindsay Chessare from Coxswain Media, shared insights into Coxswain’s evolving role in the community:

  • Their radio station family

  • Event partnerships

  • Local promotions

  • Digital marketing opportunities

  • Community-focused initiatives like Homeless for the Holidays, Bands for Badges, and blood donation programs

Lindsay highlighted how businesses, large and small, can increase visibility through creative partnerships, digital media, and community engagement. Her passion for supporting local business was inspiring and sparked several new collaboration ideas within the group.

Collaboration, Networking & New Possibilities

Today’s Biz Bites was buzzing with conversation about:

  • Digital marketing opportunities

  • Strengthening community impact

  • Small-business advertising options

  • Upcoming local events

  • Vendor opportunities

  • Future networking meetups

  • Ways CWB and Coxswain Media may partner in 2026

It was clear that everyone in the room is ready to grow, connect, and support one another in new ways.
